He was honorably discharged from active duty in 1972 as a Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserve. Between 1982 and 1985, he and his brother raised approximately $700,000,000 of financing for 17 major motion pictures, including First Blood (the original “Rambo”), Terminator, Excalibur, Easy Money, Platoon, Lone Wolf McQuade, King Solomon’s Mines, and Return of the Living Dead.
