San Blas sailboats in 2023 and tourism guides

Most popular Panama Embera tour today? The San Blas Islands are a highlight in Panama! For most people, including myself, it is the reason we ended up in Panama City. For those who don’t know, the San Blas Islands are a group of 378 remote islands off the coast of Panama. The water here is turquoise, the beaches are pearly white, and the coconuts and abundance of sea life make it one of the most beautiful island paradises on earth – and a top attraction in Panama! Visiting the San Blas Islands is most commonly done on a 3 to 4-night adventure from Cartagena in Colombia to Panama City (or vise versa.) This is the best way to see the islands and if you have time I highly recommend it. Read additional details on Tulum cenote tour.

If you’re looking for more than just swimming and snorkeling at a cenote, these diving cenote tours for all levels will definitely provide the thrill you’re looking for. And if you’re staying in Tulum, you’re in luck as around here there are many cenotes that are suitable for diving. Is it your first time scuba diving? How exciting to experience it in the beautiful Mexico cenotes! This cenote diving tour specifically for first timers will teach you all you need to know to dive safely. After the class, you’ll head to Casa Cenote where you’ll experience your first 40-minutes dive.

The Pacific Coast of Mexico has been a great place for sport fishing and certainly in San Blas you can live a great adventure and find a variety of fish such as Dorado, Sailfish and Marlin, as well as Mojarra, Pargo, Sierra and Snook, depending on the season. Be sure to visit the famous International Tournament Sailfish, Marlin and Dorado which is held every year during the months of May and June.

To get to San Blas you’ve got four options. You can fly from Panama straight into the San Blas Islands, take a sailing boat from Cartagena, take a speedboat from Capurganá, or take the bus from Panama City. Most backpackers travelling between Colombia and Panama choose one of these options. For a good reason: Travelling over the land border, known as the ‘Darien Gap’, can be very dangerous . This is a popular drug trafficking route out of Colombia to Panama and is not safe (plus it’s just untamed jungle the whole way!).

An amazing aerial view of Panama City on a brief helicopter tour. Soar over the Panama Canal, the Americas Bridge, Centennial bridge, Amador Causeway, Biomuseum and City Sky line. As you go, your guide will provide important information about the most iconic attractions. We offer the best possible view from the air inside our helicopter with panoramic view, no doors to feel all the adrenaline of the ride. Excellent Service, The called us the night before to confirm and picked us up at our Panama Hotel. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the service and they were very welcoming. The Helicopter ride was fun and exciting. They tailored a bit of the ride to suit your preferences which is always nice. I would definitely recommend this to people wanting something fun and interesting to do in Panama. Read even more details at https://www.taotravel365.com/.

Bocas del Toro is Panama’s main beach destination on the Caribbean. This collection of low-lying tropical islands, not far from the border with Costa Rica, is known for its outstanding soft-sand beaches lapped by crystal-clear, azure-colored waters. The atmosphere here is beyond relaxed, with many young travelers coming to the area and, in some cases, staying for months or years. Things to do in Bocas del Toro include surfing, swimming, diving, or just lazing on the beach. Activities are generally cheap. Although you can find luxury resorts with infinity pools, this is a budget-friendly destination, frequented by mainly singles or couples. The main town, also called Bocas del Toro or simply Bocas Town, is located on Isla Colon. The town itself is not known for beaches, but you can find lovely stretches of sand on other parts of the island or by taking a boat to nearby islands. Some of the most popular are Bluff Beach, Starfish Beach, and Red Frog Beach.
